Beta-Alanine is the ingredient behind the tingles (what Beta-Alanine does). Skip it on the no Beta-Alanine shelf, drop caffeine with stim-free pre-workout, or compare the heavy hitters on high-stim pre-workout.
Four of the five use pure L-Citrulline, never citrulline malate; Pump Action gets its pump from Nitrosigine and VasoDrive-AP instead. The common 2:1 malate blend is two parts L-Citrulline to one part malic acid, so a 9 g scoop of it is really about 6 g of L-Citrulline. When the SEND IT 3.0 or Red Dot label says 9,000 mg, you get 9,000 mg, and a full two-scoop serving of Project M777 lists 10,000 mg. Ingredients, timing and how to choose are in the complete guide to pre-workout.
Under 18 or caffeine-sensitive? Skip the caffeinated formulas. On blood-pressure medication or managing a heart condition? Ask your doctor before any pre-workout, stim-free ones included. Project M777, Red Dot and Pump Action contain milk: all three carry VasoDrive-AP, a casein hydrolysate. If you are pregnant, managing a medical condition or taking medication, clear any supplement with your doctor first.
